Wanderbug

Wanderbug is a travelling autonomous robot, which can use its feeler to sense its surroundings and avoid obstacles.  It has a PICAXE-14M2 chip as its "brains" and can be reprogrammed to perform any mobile function the user requires.  Wanderbug comes in kitset form with easy-to-follow assembly instructions.  The PICAXE-14M2 chip is preloaded with an obstacle avoidance code.  Just add a 9V battery and watch as it moves around, backing away from detected obstacles and trying another direction.  By using a USB download cable and the PICAXE Programming Editor, Wanderbug can be reprogrammed to perform other tasks.

Wanderbug comes with two upgrade sockets on the front to take Ultrasonic, Line follower, Infrared and Radio Control expansion boards.
